Marvelous Merida!

Living Room Before Merida!

Here's our living room at Madcap Cottage before the installation of wall-to-wall Merida carpeting. The Merida Dune rug took the room from nice to knock-down, kick-ass combustible chic. If you don't know Merida, you should.

Gang:

Whew, what a week! It’s definitely a busy, busy time. Which is fabulous, especially considering the state of the economy and the world in general.

But is Mercury still in retrograde? Catch me, Jesus. Because otherwise I just cannot explain some of the situations and scenarios that have come our way of late. Mostly all good, but there have been a few curveballs. I have no interest in flying the freak flag this week, so if you are a freak go pester someone like Sabrina Soto.

But back to the good and the up-and-up: We installed  a gorgeous Dune wall-to-wall carpet from the Barclay Butera Lifestyle collection from Merida in Madcap Cottage this past weekend in preparation for our Nate Berkus film shoot.

(Are you sick of all this Nate Berkus chit-chat yet?)

The Merida carpet is perfection. We are smitten, over the moon, loving, and lapping it up. Chic, elegant, and low maintenance.

Here are some snaps from the installation:

Installation!

Carpet installation begins. Our living room needed a transformation, and the Merida Dune rug pulled the space together like nobody's business.

Carpet Pads!

In with the carpet pads! Does your carpet match your drapes?

Installation!

The crew from Carpet Fabrications International in Mamaroneck, New York install the Merida carpet in Madcap Cottage. What a talented, nice crew!

Marvelous Merida!

Here's the reveal. Chic, huh?
