DEMYSTIFYING DESIGN

Nate Berkus is giving us the eye, or at least a little look over. Hello, Nate!

Gang:

Morning! Hope you all have had your coffee and are ready to go… We are cranking along here at John Loecke, Inc. It’s a little like the scene at Jeff Lewis, we just don’t have a post-op Zoila and we don’t have a fly problem nor mean clients who wear wigs.

Good news! The Nate Berkus Show called us as they are doing a “Back to School” episode, and they want to film our little cottage upstate as it is a former schoolhouse dating from 1840. Two-and-a-half minutes of daytime television? Um, sign us up!

We are pulling the cottage together in anticipation, and it’s going to be great! We are renaming Monkey Cottage, “Madcap Cottage.” We are adding fabulous Merida rugs and a runner, curtains crafted from wildly colorful tent material that we picked up in India… And our gardens are at full gallop.

The episode will air on August 30th, so mark your calendars!

R.I.P. Monkey Cottage... Madcap Cottage is ready for its big ole close-up.
